“I am Sophie Leone” is the story of a woman who radically chose to detach from ‘the system’ (15 years as a police detective), in a society where to let go of it all and surrender to oneself is seen as either the ‘mental’ or the ‘courageous’ thing to do, depending on the level of ‘success’ you are judged as having on this quest.

It is the story of the discombobulation, pain, magic and wonder which goes on in the body, mind and soul of woman as she questions societal narratives and allows herself to dream about THE DREAM, write about it, self-publish it and bring it to life in front of your eyes on stage.
