This is the story of a woman who radically chose to detach from ‘the system’ (15 years as a police detective), in a society where to let go of it all and surrender to oneself is seen as either the ‘mental’ or the ‘courageous’ thing to do, depending on the level of ‘success’ you are judged as having on this quest.

Sometimes, I wish I was better at organising my own ‘stuff’. If I was that way inclined, I could bring so much into the world which would offer help and comfort to people. I’m an ideas woman; Goodness knows all the ideas I come up
